What meditation can do
Meditating regularly can reduce symptoms of stress. It can also help with anxiety and depression, sleep disorders and psychosomatic complaints such as migraines and other chronic pain. It cannot replace a doctor's visit, but it can also provide supportive treatment, as various studies show.
What should you keep in mind when meditating?
All they should pay attention to in the first place is that they have a place where they are comfortable. This can be in the great outdoors or at your home, although the latter is certainly easier to do.
You can either sit or lie down during the meditation or sound journey. Each of us relaxes in our own way, and our emotions are not the same every day, so we have different sensations and accordingly they will want to sit one day and maybe lie down the other day.
Just make yourself comfortable! Close your eyes and listen to the voice or music, whichever you choose. You let your thoughts in, that is, don't push them away. The thoughts come and then let them move on and your focus goes back to meditation. This can happen very often during your first meditation, but it gets less and less from time to time. The ideas or thoughts during a meditation come back later!
Do not expect anything or consciously try to relax. It happens by itself!
