FOPP APP
Inside the training diary there is a very central function called the Injury Risk function. The purpose of the Injury Risk function is to have continuous control of the player's muscular condition, and based on that calculate how much risk the player has to be injured. If the player's muscles begin to approach exhaustion during the week, the risk of injury skyrockets. The Injury Risk function then notifies you of a greatly increased risk of injury. Thus, anyone with access to the player's training diary can help to limit the training and match load before the injury occurs. In practice, the vast majority of injuries that occur due to. overload could be avoided before the damage occurs.
In football and handball, however, we know that injuries can occur, e.g. due to hard tackles and tough play. In FOPP, there are good aids to avoid long injury breaks. Inside the Video menu there are two choices that are very effective for staying / being injury free; 1) Basic training and 2) Injuries.
Under the Video option "Basic training" there are videos of various injury prevention strength programs. These programs are specially adapted to strengthen the core muscles of football and handball players. The programs are based on the most common football and handball injuries, and aim to strengthen the muscles, especially in the most exposed areas. The strength programs are designed for progression in training, and have programs at three levels. If you have done little with injury prevention strength training, then you start at level 1.
Under the Video option «Injuries» there are videos with how the most common injuries; 1) is diagnosed (symptoms), 2) must be treated urgently (PRICE, tape technique, etc.) and 3) must be worked on to get rid of (injury training program).
In addition to all this, there are a number of other menus in FOPP:
- «Calendar». All matches, training and meetings are posted here.
- «Meet on the loop». Players can arrange their own training and enter both place, time and training content. Agreed self-trainings are automatically added to the calendar.
- "Attendance". The coach can register attendance. The player and the guardians can look at the attendance statistics.
- «Session plans». The player can make their own session plans. This feature is especially beneficial for players who need to train alternatively in joint training.
