In 1989, seeking new achievements for the company's growth, the Maia Laboratory opens its first branch in Sao Mateus-ES, who later became his permanent home.
With the company's growth and the need to better serve its customers, the Mayan Laboratory has invested in its expansion creating new collection posts in São Mateus, Conceição da Barra, Jaguaré and Pinheiros all in the state of Espirito Santo.
Dr. Arnaldo Maia Filho was in the direction of Maia Lab since its founding with precípua concern in line with technical and scientific development in the specialty of laboratory diagnostics, always updating techniques and methodologies.
Currently the company is run by Dr. Sandra Marilia Corcino Maia, the General Director and Administrative Function and Dr. Pedro Augusto Corcino Maia in the CFO function remaining, however, the search for technical and scientific development pursued by the previous administration.
The Mayan Laboratory has a body of highly qualified professionals with a background in biochemistry and biomedicine constantly looking for updates through courses, workshops and conferences, with the Technical Director Dr. Eduardo Almeida da Mata.
In order to meet the great demand for required exams, Maya Laboratory has invested in the acquisition of software and the latest equipment with automation in biochemistry and hematology already in place.
In order to control the quality of their exams in different areas, the Mayan Laboratory has a strict internal quality control using external providers: SBAC and CONTROLLAB (PELME) - Sponsored by the Brazilian Society Analysis Clinic Clinics and Pathology, respectively .
Also participating in the National Quality Control Program (PNCQ) - also sponsored by the Brazilian Society of Clinical Analyses, which is always getting the evaluation "excellent" since 1996.
To meet medical requests from other specialized tests, the Mayan Laboratory has agreements with clinical laboratories qualified support.
