The story of O’Leche begins with a brand new dairy farm at the outskirts of Delhi. A dairy farm that has just one breed of cows (Holstein Friesian), who are happy, fed chemical and pesticide free feed like grains/vegetables and grasses, properly housed with fans that look like coolers and bathed multiple times a day. All in all a real home for cows!!

As the saying goes, “What goes in, comes out”. At O’Leche we take great pains with what is fed to cows. A dedicated veterinarian with expertise in cow nutrition formulates balanced diet based on the life stage of the cows. The diet is designed for optimal health and good milk production. Things like hormone injections are strictly banned in the dairy farm.

The farm hydroponically grows sprouts, make silage of highly nutritious maize, sorghum, fresh rye grass. Along with the green fodder, each cow is given plenty of grains and minerals. Always an end-less supply of drinking water ensures that the cows are never thirsty. We believe that well fed cows are not only healthy but also produce healthy milk.
