Our autocratic actions towards the natural world have made these ideas seem like a distant fantasy from a world of make-believe. With global division and detachment from biophilia becoming the unfortunate norm, it comes as no surprise that the nostalgia of the natural will become sought after by the residents of the manufactured metropolis.

As a response to this longing for escape, 'Urban Eleuthromania' presents a series of post-human possibilities of co-habitation with our companion species. Collated to form a transmedia toolkit, the hyper-sensory experience places residents in the centre of an environment of possible realities, promoting one to question conventions, beliefs and attitudes of the urban realm. Through a speculative lens, mixed reality technology provides the ability to recapture our frayed connections with the natural world and inspire us all to find methods to develop our symbiosis.
