File Tracker

File Tracker allows you to record the date and time of movement of items by scanning the QR code pasted on them.

Mainly designed for recording movement of files in offices (as a replacement for File Movement Register). All you need to do is print out some QR code stickers (of any integer from 1 to 2,147,483,647) and paste it on the file (or other item you want to track).

Use the "+" Floating Action Button (Right Bottom) to open the phone camera and scan the QR Code. The first time you scan a code will lead you to File description page where you can add the file name and description. Thereafter, you only need to scan the code and choose between In or Out movement and the same will be logged in the record, along with time and date of scan.

This will allow to log the IN/OUT movement of individual file over a period of time. You can export the records in xml file format and open it in Excel Sheets for record keeping or print out (as per your convenience).

For the sake of efficiency, the scanner will only read QR Barcodes and will ignore any other type of Barcode.
