Dar- Al Hikmah is an independent, non-profit, community-based, religious 501(c)(3) organization, whose primary goal is to strive and help the less privileged in Northern Virginia. Located in the heart of Virginia, we can reach and help thousands of people who are deprived of basic needs and education. The goal is to spread positivity and offer services so that people could come forward and help others regardless of what religion they belong to.
A society is like a body. If one part is injured, it has an impact on other body parts as well.
It is the duty of every human being to provide for others for a fruitful reward in the afterlife. For the sake of humanity, pledging to help others and giving away your share as a donation is our duty. A just society is built when no one is left behind. That is why Dar- Al Hikmah works tirelessly with their brothers and sisters to support each individual and his family for a better society and tomorrow.

How to Make A Big Difference?

Dar Al-Hikmah is not an organization that just provides to those in need. It strives to encourage people to stand up for themselves. Our duty as a human is to empower individuals so that they could strive and help themselves.
Encouraging immediate relief is not a viable solution. Despite urgent help, which does not benefit in the long run, consulting each individual about their crises, whether financial or societal is more credible.
In other words, Dar Al-Hikmah approaches each individual and study their situation on a case basis to see If there’s an appropriate and sustainable solution to the problem.
But no organization is ever built without the help of the donors. With the collective help of donors, organizations can break shackles of poverty. They are like the foundation of a good cause for humanity.
