VELVET Goya

VELVET Goya allows you to remotely control any VELVET EVO, VELVET KOSMOS fresnels or VELVET Cyc lights from any smartphone or tablet using two compatible methods:
• Wi-Fi: Control an unlimited number of lights up to 100 meters (330 feet) away through a VELVET Router (sold separately) or your own configured router.
• Bluetooth: directly control up to 4 devices from a distance of up to 30 meters (100 feet).

VELVET Goya offers unparalleled versatility for lighting design and management making it an ideal tool for any creative project.

One of its standout features is the ability to create and manage multiple lighting effects, or "scenes," for a single set. With just a few steps, you can duplicate an existing project to quickly generate different lighting presets for the same setup, saving valuable time during production. Additionally, you can enhance project comprehension by adding a background image—either by importing a file or taking a photo directly within the app.

To further refine set design, users can position one or more cameras within the layout. This added functionality improves the interpretation of the lighting plan, offering a clear and comprehensive view of the setup.

Color control is another highlight. In both CCT+RGB and R+G+B+W+CW modes, the system allows users to pick colors directly from a selected portion of an image—whether from the device’s library or a freshly captured photo. This ensures precise color matching and unparalleled flexibility in achieving desired lighting tones.

The Gels and Light Sources modes provide even more creative options. Users can effortlessly match the selected gel to other light sources or customize it to their specific needs. Once personalized, the gel can be saved and named as a new preset for future use. With an expanded library of over 140 gels from Rosco and Lee, the possibilities for customization are virtually endless.

The Effects mode introduces numerous new parameters, enabling users to quickly and visually personalize selected effects. These parameters even allow for customization of the color range within which the effect operates, offering enhanced creative control.

For ease of use, the system includes a Master Dimmer and individual dimmer controls for each fixture placed within the set. This ensures precise and efficient lighting adjustments during both planning and live production.
