TEAM BAYERN is the innovative platform for low-threshold offers of help and the placement of helpers in the event of a crisis. Disasters and emergencies do not announce themselves - that is why we are already taking precautions now to be prepared in the event of an emergency: BAYERN 3 and the BAYERISCHE ROTE KREUZ are looking for people who are ready to help when help is needed. Be it in the event of a major accident, a disaster or even minor support within the framework of neighborhood help.

With the app, TEAM BAYERN is now also digital and can therefore be used continuously, easily and flexibly in the future. The app has three main features for different scenarios and needs:

"I want to prepare"
The Team Bayern app becomes a personal preparation assistant. On the one hand, she gives tips that can help you in everyday life and, on the other hand, accompanies the optimal preparation of your own home for a wide variety of exceptional situations. The app also provides users with targeted behavioral tips so that they can adapt to the current or possibly changing situation. For example: Before attending events or family outings, arrange a fixed meeting point for the family in case you lose sight of each other. Or: be prepared for a power outage and don't just think about candles, flashlights or cooking facilities after the power is gone.

"I want to be warned"
In the event of storms or other catastrophic events, it is important to pass on information quickly, precisely and reliably: Official disaster and weather warnings are precisely delivered to individually defined locations (home, work, children's school, etc.). In this way, precautions can be taken before a damaging event occurs.

"I want to help"
No matter whether big or small, young or old, strong or petite: everyone can help. All of this without obligation and always with the opportunity to say: I can't take part this time. “One person alone cannot stop a flood, but many together can build a dike. One person alone cannot do anything against gigantic amounts of snow, but many together can at least shovel roofs free and keep them from collapsing. ”This is how you can help others and even save lives. You can easily register as a new member via the Team Bayern app. Here you have the option of defining more precisely whether you want to help in a disaster, whether you are ready to help outside of a disaster, or whether you want to help others as part of neighborhood help (e.g. shopping services). What is new is that you can use your smartphone to become an online helper: the Team Bayern app can take on important tasks and, for example, provide a picture of your immediate surroundings in a disaster situation at your location.

TEAM BAYERN supporters who are already active will also benefit from the app. You can be alerted about an operation directly via the app, be provided with all the relevant information and manage all of your operation data very easily.
