Taalam

Taalam is Sanskrit for Rhythm. This app can be useful for Carnatic musicians whenever a visual rhythm reference is needed. The basic seven Taalams of Carnatic music are built into this app, along with five Jaathi variations (3, 4, 5, 7, 9). Select the desired Taalam, Jaathi and press the green play button. The Taalam video will play in a loop for as long as the app runs. Speed can be adjusted with the arrows next to the play button. We hope this app is helpful in your musical journey.
