Founded in 1983, the SNQTB aims to defend professionals who, in banking in Portugal, exercise their professional functions. Modern and reformist in its union practice, the Union is strictly non-partisan and independent, and it is currently the largest national union of bank employees in activity. SNQTB also manages SAMS Quadros, the best health subsystem of bank employees in Portugal, which aims to protect and assist its beneficiaries in illness, maternity and other related social situations.
