Sipu

The SIPU application ("river" in Mi'gmaq language) allows users to participate in the identification of issues related to Atlantic salmon observed on a river. Once one of the six categories of issues has been selected, the user can then add photos and comments. The position is determined by the device's GPS and a report is sent to a recipient organization to be compiled into a database. Currently available for the Restigouche River and Eel River watersheds.
