The L'Oso Restaurant is located on the Maggiore Island of Lake Trasimeno, in the Municipality of Tuoro, from where tourists embark on characteristic boats to visit the island. Isola Maggiore is the only one of the three islands of the lake that still has a modest population; the other two are the Polvese, recently declared a Didactic Science Park, and the Minore, privately owned.
