RG Digital RN

The RG Digital is an application provided by the Technical-Scientific Institute of Expertise (ITEP/RN) and by the Government of the State of Rio Grande do Norte (RN) that allows citizens to upload an authentic version of their Identity Card (RG) in the your cell phone, bringing convenience and security to the citizens of RN.

To enable it:

1. Open the RG Digital app
2. Read the QR Code printed on the back of your ID with your cell phone camera, and
3. Validate your biometric data

Important:
- Only biometric IDs have the QR Code printed on the back
- To obtain a biometric ID, schedule your appointment through the website eventos.itep.rn.gov.br
- RGs of the State of Rio Grande do Norte are issued exclusively by the Technical-Scientific Institute of Expertise of the State of Rio Grande do Norte (ITEP/RN)
- To request a duplicate of the physical ID, it is necessary to collect the issuance fee in advance.
- The Digital RG is a secure and valid document throughout Brazil.
