repacket APP
With repacket, usable packaging material no longer ends up in the trash.
On the map you can see retailers who would be happy to receive and reuse your used but well-preserved packages, mailing bags and filling material. Instead of throwing things in the overflowing garbage can, look on the map for a dealer in your neighborhood and bring him the box the next time you leave the house. As a parcel donor, you do not have to register or disclose any other information about yourself.
For retailers who want to use second-hand boxes, there has been too little contact with people who would donate packaging material.
Now you can register on the card and use four categories to determine what can currently be reused in the store: large packages, small packages and / or filling material.
In addition to saving money through reuse, one or the other donor will certainly be aware of products in the store that he would otherwise have bought online. Repacket also helps to strengthen local retail.
An everyday way to use resources more sustainably: Although cardboard boxes are mostly made from recycled paper and are often recycled themselves, it is extremely worthwhile in terms of energy technology to reuse a cardboard box before it is recycled.
If you throw a box into the paper bin, the fibers in Germany are normally recycled. However, paper fibers can only be recycled up to seven times on average.
However, since one carton could be reused three to four times on average without the material losing its protective properties, it would be possible to send goods 21 times with one package. You could save a total of two thirds of the total energy that would be used for the recycling process.
