CAPITAL.ba is the first business portal in Republika Srpska founded in 2007. It soon became one of the most read and most cited business portal not only in BiH but also in the region.

The editor-in-chief of the CAPITAL.ba business portal, Siniša Vukelić, is the winner of the European Union Award for Investigative Journalism in BiH in 2016.

The EU award was given for a series of stories under the common name "Robbery of Balkan Investment Bank - Banka Srpska", which was declared the best research story in BiH in 2015.

The main goal of the portal is - to provide business people, investors and citizens with fast, accurate and up-to-date economic information from RS, BiH and the surrounding area.

Our slogan “Information is capital” best demonstrates the commitment to publish only from multiple sources of verified news.

Journalists write and edit for CAPITAL.ba, with many years of experience in business reporting.

Most of the contributors are editors of business columns in their home media. Analysts and commentators are recognized experts in their field.

Due to the possible conflict of interest and a more objective assessment of the written analysis, we insist that under each comment related to the capital market, the author states the names of the joint stock companies whose shares he owns.

What we especially consider important is Information WITHOUT POLITICS, which could be our second slogan. No indulgence. We are not members of any political party.

We will publish news from political life and statements of politicians only when they affect or may affect the business environment.
