A multidisciplinary approach and unambiguous treatment are very important for rapid wound healing. However, this is often hindered by the fact that different collaborating healthcare providers work in their own closed system. As a result, the practitioner does not always have the most up-to-date information, just when it is needed. In addition, the registration of wound care in many general EHRs receives little attention. To solve these problems we have developed PatDoc. Our own EPD, especially for wound care.
You can use the PatDoc app to register the wound treatment and to facilitate communication between the practitioners. This makes it possible for all practitioners involved to view every visit of the patient. For example, a nurse in the home situation can ask for help from a nurse in the hospital. Or a medical specialist can remotely view the file to determine whether it is necessary for the patient to come to the hospital. And they can all communicate securely with each other via PatDoc. It is also possible in the app to place a resource order.
