Panormedil

The single body for training and safety in construction Panormedil-Cpt was established in February 2014, unifying the two bilateral bodies which until then had dealt with one training and the other safety at work. With Cassa Edile it forms the bilateral construction system of Palermo.

It is jointly managed by ACEP (Association of Building Builders of Palermo) and by trade organizations adhering to the majority trade union confederations (FENEAL-UIL, FILCA-CISL, FILLEA-CGIL).

The "Panormedil" Building School, founded in 1983, manages professional training in concert with the CPT, in application of the national collective labor contract for the building industry. The institution designs and carries out the training of the figures in charge of safety pursuant to Legislative Decree 81/08 (Rls, Rspp, Emergencies and scaffolding workers, etc.). Furthermore, the C.C.N.L. assigns the building school the establishment of the Labor Exchange (Blen.it) in order to combine the demand and supply of work in the construction sector. As far as safety is concerned, the Organization promotes the improvement of occupational safety and hygiene on construction sites and of environmental conditions through an active safety policy, providing services to businesses in terms of free consultancy on construction sites, with the contribution of competent technicians and experts, ensuring constant and detailed information on site for construction workers.

Among its tasks, that of verifying the correct application of the occupational health and safety management criteria (SGSL) by companies.

Since the year of its foundation (1991), the Cpt of Palermo has provided services to companies in terms of free consultancy on site, with the contribution of competent technicians and experts; ensures constant and articulated information to construction workers; The Cpt has also set up an information desk for business owners; has stipulated Memoranda of Understanding, relating to safety on site, with various Contracting Stations (Municipality and Regional Province of Palermo, University, lacp, various municipal administrations, AMAP S.p.A., COIME Palermo etc.) and with the Prevention and Safety in the Environment Service of Work (SPRESAL) of the AUSL 6 of Palermo; signed a Protocol with the Department of Road Infrastructure Engineering for the promotion of research activities and initiatives of technical-scientific relevance; has launched training courses for students of the fourth and fifth class of the Institutes for Surveyors Duca degli Abruzzi, Filippo Parlatore and M. Rutelli for the promotion of the culture of safety.

The Panormedil-CPT technicians, experts in safety and health in the building industry, are able to offer solutions to the numerous problems detectable on site; the visits carried out annually by the technicians have allowed the Organization to become a real point of reference, always present and updated for companies, workers and technicians.

Technical assistance, offered free of charge on site, is based on a collaborative and consultative style.

The Panormedil-Cpt body is a training body accredited by the Sicily Region with DDG 322 of 01/30/2017, in possession of the EN ISO 9001:2008 certification, is registered in the REA of the Chamber of Commerce of Palermo at rep. No. 222924 dated 07/28/2000.
