OBK Bennekom

OBK Music Association is a lively and growing association with a beautiful music center of its own. In addition to being a pleasant association, OBK Bennekom performs at a high level. The repertoire varies from beautifully accessible music, atmospheric harmony music to surprisingly modern sounds. Our percussion group and the twirl group show spectacular shows and surprising virtuosity.

Different parts
Today, OBK has around 170 members, almost half of whom are youth members. The association consists of different parts that come out very regularly together, but also separately from each other:
• Our orchestras: Da Capo (start-up orchestra), Tutti 4 All (beginner orchestra), the mars orchestra (for the marching street performances), an event orchestra (for the cheerful and pleasant performances in Bennekom and beyond) and of course our symphonic wind orchestra in harmony instrumentation
• Our percussion group with a youth percussion group, a percussion ensemble and a drum band after an American example (for the marching street performances)
• Our twirl group (majorettes) with various teams, soloists and duos. The twirlers also participate in the marching street performances.
• An AMV training for young, future musicians.
