The Moroccan number plate is a device for identifying registered vehicles in Morocco. The registration system current date of 2000.

Vehicle registrations consist of five digits (1 to 99,999) designating the registration number of the vehicle, a letter of the Arabic alphabet in the middle incremented with respect to the registration number and the identifier of the prefecture transmitting plate (from 1 to 88).
