MemTest - Memory games

MemTest is expertly designed to test and enhance your Visual Short-term Memory (commonly known as VSTM). VSTM is the ability to retain a small amount of visual information (letters, shapes, colors, etc.) over a short period of time.

Benefits of enhancing VSTM:
• In most of the interviews, your VSTM is being checked by asking random questions like what is the color of the building in which they are present or the time on the clock hanging outside. So, you need a sharp VSTM to clear these types of interviews and get your desired job.
• Not only that, most jobs and careers require an appropriate level of VSTM. In many cases, you may be responsible for reading or writing a report, in which you would have to remember the words in order to give them context. The more visual the job (architect, designer, painter, soldier etc.) is, the more necessary this cognitive ability will be.
• VSTM plays a huge role in driving as well, because it allows you to remember traffic signs and keep an eye on the cars around you. If you remember that a white car was to your right, you will have a much better chance of avoiding a collision with it later.

Having a good VSTM is very necessary to excel in life. Through MemTest, you will not only able to test your VSTM, but it has practice and custom modes for you to practice on daily basis and also keep a track record of your progress. It is a simple yet very effective application as it has already produced positive results. It is preferable for you to practice 5 to 10 minutes daily and then you will surely observe its positive change in yourself.

About Modes:

Practice Mode:
This mode is comprised of four levels. The difficulty of levels is based on descending order of the Memory Storage Time (renowned as MST, is the time in which specific object or information will be displayed on your screen and you have to store it in your memory). After you have pressed the button, digits ranging from 1 to 9 will appear on your screen and will get disappeared as the MST is ended. Then, you have to guess the correct position of each digit in the ascending order. Incorrect input will end the ongoing session and then, you can try again by pressing the PLAY button.

Ultimate Mode:
After you are done with the Practice Mode, here comes the Ultimate Mode in which the MST is set to 250 ms (0.25 s). The difficult part of this mode is that you have to guess it in only five seconds-that is the Memory Processing time (renowned as MPT, is the time in which you have to fetch the information which is already stored in your memory and register your response according to it). The ongoing session will expire after you enter wrong input or the MPT is ended. You can then try again by pressing the PLAY button. The Ultimate Mode is nearly impossible to complete but if you have practiced consistently, then you may besiege this fort.

Custom Mode:
After you have completed the Practice and Ultimate Mode, the Custom Mode is designed for you in which you can set the Memory Storage Time and Memory Processing Time by your own and defy all the limits set by our Ultimate Mode. There are no such restrictions apart from that the MPT cannot be less than 1000 ms (1.0 s). At the end of every successful attempt, you will be provided a report in which your previous Best Attempt and your current performance will be mentioned along with the Response Time (is the time in which the ongoing session is completed). This will enable you to keep strong check on your progress.
