Mausam Bihar APP
“Mausam Bihar” is a mobile application developed by “Bihar Mausam Sewa Kendra”, Planning and Development Department, Government of Bihar for disseminating customised Weather information, forecast and advisories directly to end users.
The application is designed to provide
1. Live Weather Information is based on data collected through a network of
Automatic Weather Stations (AWS- Block level) and Automatic Rain Gauge Stations (ARG-Panchayat Level).
2. Weather Forecast is generated through an Experimental WRF Model, developed in association with Space Applications Centre (ISRO-SAC), Ahmedabad.
