Licencia Digital Jalisco

The digital driver's license of the State of Jalisco is an electronic document for online consultation through mobile devices and download through the app. It has the same official validity as the plastic license issued by the Ministry of Transportation.

In accordance with the State Law on Mobility, Road Safety and Transportation, this license allows a person to verify their ability to drive a motor vehicle before the competent authority.

It is a secure document with biometric identity verifications, which uses a dynamic QR code for its validation as well as the use of the Advanced Electronic Signature, thus reducing the space for impunity, theft and fraud. In terms of innovation and digitization, it is a tool that provides certainty both to the people who use it and to the authorities, whose task is to monitor and control the regulations in force on the road.

This procedure is in charge of the Directorate of Licenses and Registration of Drivers of the Secretary of Transportation.
