Krishi Vigyan Kendras are established by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi to accomplish the job of transfer of technology in the field of agriculture as well as animal husbandry for the benefit of farming community in general. The basic objective is to increase the agricultural production in the country and to improve the living standard of people.
Krishi Vigyan Kendra is a district level organization engaged in transfer of latest technologies to the farming community of the district. KVK acts as a bridge between the research organization and farmers that works for solving the location specific problems (issues) of farming community in agriculture and allied fields.
