KIV - Kommunale Inventar Verwa

The municipal inventory management (KIV) is a system designed for municipalities and building yards for the digital management of traffic signs and street furniture based on a unique QR code. This serialized code is already applied to the traffic signs during production by the manufacturer. Existing signs and street furniture such as park benches, rubbish bins, etc. can be marked with post-inventory labels.

This serialization enables a simple, digital recording of traffic signs with the help of the KIV app. After this inventory, the traffic signs can be used in the context of traffic shows and the like. can be checked very quickly with the KIV app.

The traffic sign data is stored in a central database with dedicated access rights. A powerful KIV portal for managing traffic signs with a map and list view of all traffic signs, automated evaluation of the signs that will soon expire, display of the history of a traffic sign, etc. is also available to the community employees.
