Hundreds of legal cases happen in Germany every day. Many are so incredible that they read like fiction. But sometimes the reality in the courtroom is even better than any crime thriller. Just think of the famous Cat King case! We would like to make it our task to collect these legally curious laughing and factual stories and present them to our readers in an appealing way.

JURios reports on strange legal news. The blog was founded in 2020 and, in addition to curious judgments from Germany, also collects legal laughs and factual stories from all over the world for its readers.

There is a small team of creative minds behind JURios. They all have one thing in common: a law degree and a keen sense of humor. The editorial team consists of law students, trainee lawyers and young lawyers.

The subject areas that JURios serves not only include public law, criminal law and civil law, but also reports from the judiciary, studies and legal clerkship, as well as the special categories "Slippery", "Hokus Pokus" and "Animally in a good mood!"
