J-SPEED+ 災害時診療概況報告システム

This application is based on the lessons learned from the Great East Japan Earthquake (2011), and is advocated by the "Joint Committee on the Ideal Way of Medical Records in the Event of a Disaster" in Japan's standard disaster medical care format (disaster medical care records and disaster medical care overview report). It is developed according to the system J-SPEED). The same formula was used in the Kumamoto earthquake (2016) and contributed to providing continuous and efficient medical care to the victims. On the other hand, since the Kumamoto earthquake was operated by paper media, the daily data processing burden at the coordination headquarters of the J-SPEED activity daily report submitted by the disaster medical team became an issue. Based on this lesson, this smartphone application was developed.
By utilizing this application, the medical care activities of all disaster medical teams working in the disaster area can be immediately visualized, and it becomes possible to efficiently provide medical care to the victims of the disaster.
Disaster medical teams will be able to make instant reports from remote locations and enter J-SPEED data offline.
The disaster area coordination headquarters will be freed from paper-style data management, and the automatically aggregated information will be available before the coordination meeting.
J-SPEED was developed as a Japanese version of SPEED (J-SPEED) based on SPEED (Surveillance in Post Extreme Emergencies and Disasters) jointly developed by the Ministry of Health of the Philippines and the World Health Organization WHO. Following the confirmation of its effectiveness in both Japan and Japan, WHO developed a method called MDS (Minimum Data Set) based on J-SPEED and adopted it as an international standard in February 2017. The international standard, which was born in the Philippines and raised in Japan, is expected to be useful for the relief of disaster victims at disaster sites around the world. It is expected that it will continue to lead the international trends in relations with the main axis.
