Injection Planning APP

This application is intended for patients whose long-term treatment requires regular interval injections. Generally, they are trained in self-injection techniques to be able to treat themselves without the assistance of a healthcare professional. A different injection site must be chosen each time, which reduces the risk of irritation or pain.

Examples of relevant conditions: multiple sclerosis, diabetes (blood sugar monitoring and insulin), cancers, asthma, kidney failure, hematological diseases, psoriasis, ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid arthritis, etc.

Injected medications can cause side effects such as erythema, pain, induration, pruritus, edema, inflammation, hypersensitivity, etc. In such cases, regular rotation of injection sites (injection locations) must be observed to ensure sufficient tissue rest time for each site.

In the "Sites" tab, attach sites (identified by letters of the alphabet) to the front or back silhouette by clicking the corresponding button ("Front" or "Back").

In the "Front" and "Back" tabs, the sites are graphically represented by semi-transparent markers, each containing a letter corresponding to the site. Position the markers at the desired locations by dragging them with your finger. The application saves the positions in real time.

A click on the "+" button at the top right adds a site.

Clicking on a given site allows you to specify that an injection has been or will be performed at this site. For a past date, enter a positive value to specify the age in days. For a future date, enter a negative value.

A long click on a given site allows you to delete it.

The "Tracking" tab contains a table in which the sites are ranked in descending order of injection age. In other words, the first site displayed is the one where the next injection is expected to take place. However, you can choose another site if the suggested one does not suit you (residual pain, inflammation…).

To specify that an injection has just been performed on a given site, click the corresponding "syringe" icon.

Next to each site assigned an injection, you will find the number of days since the last injection occurred or the number of days remaining until the next injection.

You can modify the injection date on a given site at any time by clicking the corresponding letter. For a past date, enter a positive value to specify the age in days. For a future date, enter a negative value.
