Iconem - Aleppo AR

This app lets you explore the 3D model of the damaged Ancient City of Aleppo, Syria, in Augmented Reality (AR). This digital copy, recording the state of the Ancient City in April 2017, was produced by Iconem using drone acquired photographs and satellite imagery based damage assessments by UNOSAT.

Point your phone camera at the marker. You should see the 3D model appearing over the marker.
You can control the angle of view by moving your device directly. The controls on the right let you discover annotations on several major monuments of the Ancient City and switch between a 3D view and a map view.
