What do you need?

- An activated account on MyGovernment
What happens to your data?
The information you request with your rental passport will be stored in your secure environment. Only you and the landlords that you have given permission can see it. Furthermore, no data is stored anywhere.
How does it work?
By logging in with your DigiD data, you can obtain the necessary data from MijnOverheid, Belastingdienst and Mijn UWV. You have insight into which data is collected from the government sources and which are stored in your Rental Passport. Your profile can then, in a safe way, be made transparent for a landlord.
Step 1
Enter your e-mail address and mobile phone number. Pay attention; you need this number for SMS verification later in the process.
Step 2
Follow the subsequent steps of Huurpaspoort. Enter your details as completely as possible.
Step 3
Log in to the government sources through DigiD. For each government source you will see an overview of the retrieved data. Add this information to your Rental Passport.
Step 4
After retrieving the data you will see a total overview. Here you check whether all required information is complete. When this is in order, you give the landlord access.

Step 5
You will receive a confirmation with which you can log into your Rental Passport. Here you can view your details and decide for yourself who may have access to your Rental Passport.
The landlord can now assess your Rental Passport and will contact you about the further course.
