Hindu Calendar - 2025 (Simple)

The Hindu Calendar (Simple) was created with the South African Hindu community in mind.
From personal experiences, due to both home and work pressures, we found that we missed important Hindu event/prayer dates, even though we had a physical calendar . Thanks to the Hindu Calendar (Simple), we will never miss another Hindu event/prayer again.

You can also have the convenience of being reminded of your Hindu events/prayers, just by downloading the Hindu Calendar (Simple).

Calendar features:

1. App can be used offline,

2. Hindu events/prayers are highlighted on the calendar.

3. Click on a highlighted event/prayer date on the calendar and the event's/prayer's name will appear on the card view at the bottom of the screen,

4. If a future event/prayer date is selected on the calendar, the user will be notified on the number of days to the selected prayer,

5. The card view contains the following:
* Prayer date
* Prayer name
* It allows users to set reminders for prayers/events
* The reminders remain set even if the user's phone is restarted
* It allows users to share prayer dates faster and easier
* Use the card view to speedily navigate to the next or the previous event/prayer date

6. Option to share the Hindu Calendar (Simple) app.

7. On certain phone brands we discovered that the reminder-notification will only work if the Protected apps for Hindu Calendar (Simple) is turned on. To navigate to the Protected apps, go to Settings > Advanced settings > Battery manager > Protected apps and then scroll to Hindu Calendar (Simple) and turn the switch on.
