Halal Jakim Barcode Scanner

Scan product barcode directly to get status of Halal Jakim certification. complete with company details, halal jakim reference code and contact person of the company and most importantly the certification expiry date.

This is not official project with Halal Jakim. Database was built from ground-up based on data scraped from Halal Jakim website. Halal Jakim database does not contained direct relational information of barcode to products (at least what appears on their website). Thus results of scan is search based on product nameand brands against the database.

At the moment search only works with Food & Beverages products. We will update this to include other consumer product in later version.
