Gali Net empowers farmers to share essential information about their agricultural production in real time.
It allows any user to create and view geolocated alerts relating to hazards impacting agricultural production.
The application is completely free, does not require any login and is extremely easy to use. In addition, no housing or investment is necessary for its use.
The user has the possibility to view, from a map centered on his position, all the alerts sent by other users. It can filter these alerts according to the category to which they belong. There are 6 categories: livestock-related diseases, crop-related diseases, pests, animals, weather, humans. They are themselves divided into sub-categories.
The user can also send an alert. He must then select a category and a sub-category and include a comment as well as the degree of severity. He can also optionally add a photo which explains the hazard encountered.
