Hearing is an important prerequisite for the emotional and cognitive development of children. Good hearing is also a prerequisite for children to learn to speak, read and write without any problems. The "Digital Workshop Audiostudio" trains the language, hearing and listening skills of children. It also encourages inventiveness and imagination and invites children to perceive smartphones and tablets as creative tools.

PRODUCING AUDIO PLAYS
With the “Digitalwerkstatt Audiostudio” children from the age of 5 can produce their own radio play. They tell stories, record noises and music, or search the sound library for suitable sounds. This is how the first radio plays, podcasts or sound adventures are created in a playful way. Children get to know elements and tools of digital audio processing such as microphone, sound sequence or audio track.

TELL STORIES
Travel to space, experience exciting adventures with your favorite heroine or come up with a bedtime story? With the audio studio, children can implement their ideas easily and intuitively. Making up stories not only encourages imagination and creativity, the children also expand their vocabulary and improve their understanding of the text.

GET TO KNOW VOICES
What does my voice sound like or the voice of my friends, siblings and parents? How do I sound like telling a joke when I am angry or sad? With the "" Digitalwerkstatt Audiostudio "" children learn how their voice or different speech postures and speech melodies work. Clear language and free speaking are encouraged.

FIND & INVENT SOUND
With our app, children can go on a journey into the world of sounds. What sounds surround us? How does a summer day or a car chase sound like? And: How do noises change when I record them? Children can work out the answers to these questions by experimenting with the recording studio. To do this, they browse the sound library or record their own noises.

SAVE, SHARE AND GIFT
Children can not only save their radio plays or podcasts and share them with others, they can also work with them in other applications. A radio play produced with the app can be used with the programming language Scratch. The characters from the stories can be animated and programmed here.
