Deft Machine GAME
Take control of the deft machine and fight against enemy creatures, smash stuff, balance on moving dynamic platforms, catch guns and items.
Game common features and mechanics:
✔ Game objects interactions are heavily based on 2D physics engine simulation.
✔ Almost all dynamic things are destroyable (broken platforms are recreated).
✔ Motor vehicle's "health" is reduced when machine is getting hit, falling from great height, squeezed and overlapped by objects.
✔ Every control action except for trunk use consumes some amount of fuel.
✔ Wheels motor torque, jump force, turbo thrust, gunfire are time dependent.
✔ Player's machine can get positive and negative temporal abilities.
✔ Restore health, fuel, time, switch weapons etc. on the fly.
✔ Skills are needed to properly control the vehicle and as well to hold on moving platforms.
✔ Objects being stuck in the machine's wheels is a "controllable bug" - just use the mace.
There are two game modes:
1. CAMPAIGN
You are sent to a distant unnamed planet to pass some tests on motor vehicle's steadiness and driver's professionalism. Break boxes and search for keys, collect them to reveal an exit door, find that door and enter it to complete a level and get access to the next one. Use machine's deftness and your intelligence to achieve the goal.
Recommended for experienced players.
Campaign features and mechanics:
✔ Heavily based on in-game gold transactions.
✔ To play a level you pay gold and upon winning level you get gold as reward.
✔ Buy weapons and supplies in the store (health, fuel, time, boosts) before starting a level.
✔ Sell surplus of your trunk guns and items using the store.
✔ Get gold in "Catch Gold" mini-game.
✔ It's possible you might run OUT OF GOLD with no means to earn it in that case you should start NEW campaign.
✔ Dependency on randomness thus a bit of luck needed.
✔ Game progress is saved automatically (no save, load).
(P.S. This campaign is meant to be a challenge something like in "old school games").
2. SANDBOX
You can spawn game objects available in the factory (button on screen bottom) in almost every point of a map. For instance: build some sort of a structure, add enemies, take weapons and engage in battle. Well, it's up to you to experiment!

Sandbox features and mechanics:
✔ Open factory, select an object, touch screen where you want to spawn the object.
✔ Toggle the button "OverSpawn" on in Options to be able to spawn things even inside static ground (in rare cases this feature might cause some non physical behavior).
✔ Pick color in the factory to choose a faction for enemies.
✔ Pan, zoom in/out camera.
✔ Toggle the button "F" on/off to enable/disable camera following the machine.
✔ Toggle the button "P" off to disable factory abilities.
✔ Manipulate with factory window: move, change size, opacity.
Deft Machine is a peculiar tough 2D platformer game with some irregular game mechanics that in conjunction with adequate physics simulator allows you to get maybe new game experience and impressions!
