COPTR Connect

After coupling with a COPTR thunderstorm warning system, all relevant and location-specific data on thunderstorm and system status appear.

These include:
• Thunderstorm alarm status (green / yellow / red)
• Push notifications when the thunderstorm status changes (pre-warning / alarm / all-clear)
• Specification of location-related instructions for action in the event of a thunderstorm
• Countdown function until the all clear
• Siren status (switch on or switch off)
• Display of night rest or maintenance status
• Display of live weather data from an integrated weather station

The data is based on the latest lightning detection systems and is only available to professional users. The warning and all-clear occurs fully automatically and without human intervention. The system replaces possibly incorrect and subjective risk assessments with factual measurement technology in accordance with DIN IEC 62793.

The lightning strike information in the COPTR Connect app is not universally valid lightning strike information, but spatially limited to a single open space system. Access to the COPTR Connect app is secured via a token (password). The user must request the token from the operator of the open space system and not from COPTR. The COPTR Connect app is for warning, not protection. COPTR therefore asks for your understanding that COPTR cannot accept any liability for storm damage.
