We all want to collect things - the list of books we read, movies we watched, places we want to visit, or visited, important material on a topic, so on.
Such collections, in the digital world, can be of any form - movies, books, links, images, videos, and/or files.
And we want to discreetly share such collections - not all collections are meant to be shared with everyone! Some collections are meant to be shared with family members, some with friends, and some with even fewer set of people.

It serves as both
1. your personal collection of movies/TV shows, books, links, images, videos, files, places, other content) that you have watched/watching, along with your rating.
2. a way to share that collection with others, to see their reviews
