The "Dominican Missionaries of the Holy Family" is a congregation belonging to the family of the "Order of Preachers" whose founder was Santo Domingo de Guzman. Him and his followers, particularly in the Canary Islands Padre Cueto (1892-1910) and Mother Pilar, our founders, comes the spirituality that animates the educational mission of our Congregation.

Dominic was born in Caleruega (Burgos) 1170 and received a "Don Prophetic" that prompted him to give concrete responses to the crisis that lived the Church and society of his time responses. He had a clear awareness that man, to reach their personal fulfillment and thus be true agent of change, you must have a thorough zeal for the search for truth through contemplation and constant study.
