Carvan Carpool

Whether you have to commute daily to work or university, or you have to go to airport, party or on a shopping trip, Carvan helps you carpool with people from your community. With affordable rates, Carvan is quite economical as compared to taxis, rickshaws and ride hailing cabs. Here’s how you do it!

How does it work?
- Download and Sign Up on the App
- Search for your Community on the app (e.g. your university, company or housing society) and join it
- If you want to book a ride, just publish your route in your desired community and the app will match you to a carpooler driving on the same route as yours.
- If you want to offer a ride, fill in your credentials (like NIC, driver’s license etc.). Once approved, publish your route to a community and the app will match you to a rider who wants to travel on the same route as yours
- As a rider, you can also check community for one-off rides and request to travel if you spot a route same as yours
- Once the ride is over, app will calculate a fare that the rider will have to pay to the driver of the car. Carvan takes no share or commission in the fare
