Bloodriders

This app was developed in association with a number of Bloodrunner groups across the UK - the groups of volunteers who ride and drive for Bloodrunner, Bloodbike, SERV and other NABB groups, delivering blood products between hospitals.

The bloodrunners often deliver the blood by motorcycles at night, crossing remote areas.

The app's Tracker feature tracks the bloodrunner's progress and automatically sends their location directly to their control centre if they stop somewhere unexpected for a prolonged period and don't respond to alerts.

Other features:
= Duty alarms remind you to report for duty, with controller details and sign-in message all set up, ready to send.
= Automatic generation of controller messages, tailored to your group, saving time and effort, including auto-timestamps, locations and distances travelled.
= A simple one-click SendLocation feature sends your location on a zoomable, scrollable map direct to your controller.

= Real-time traffic data, personalised to the roads and counties you use. At the start of each duty the app informs you of any accidents and closures. It then tracks the data every 15 minutes and updates you of any new issues for the duration of your duty.

Quick and simple to try out. Zero lock-in - you can switch between using the app and your regular SMS app, even in the middle of a run. And there is zero impact on the rest of the group - controllers work just the same whether you are using the app or not.

Each Bloodrunner group has a different way of working including different messaging formats and duty times.
