The BKK exclusively opens up a quick and easy way for its insured and all interested parties to communicate with their health insurance company via the SELF SERVICE app. Certificates of incapacity for work, applications, invoices and much more can be sent in just a few moments using a smartphone or tablet. Simply photograph and upload. You can also change your master data conveniently and securely from home.

As a statutory health insurance company, we ensure the best possible protection of your health data. To ensure that only you or persons authorized by you have access to SELF SERVICE, we will identify you securely once. To do this, use one of the following options:
- The insurance number, a unique e-mail address and a mobile phone number are collected in the registration process for the user account
- An access code (QR code) will be sent to the address stored exclusively by the BKK
- After scanning the QR code, a new access password must be assigned
- All relevant data changes require two-factor authentication

Future Extensions
The BKK exclusive will constantly expand SELF SERVICE. In the next versions the app will be supplemented by
- an insured mailbox and
- digital applications.
