Bank iD PLUS

Bank iD PLUS is a unique Czech application that makes it much easier for you to prove your age when purchasing goods and services that require it. Typically when selling alcohol, tobacco, cigarettes, pyrotechnics, tickets, taking advantage of student discounts or picking up goods at delivery boxes. Don't want to look for your ID card and show sensitive personal data? You don't have to anymore, because the BankID PLUS application only displays basic data - meeting the required age limit, your first name and the first letter of your last name, the current date and time as a protective element. Everything is safe, simple and extremely efficient.

How does it work?


You activate the application by logging in with your bank identity. This will verify your personal data. Whenever you need to prove your age, you have two options:


A) either display a QR code that the seller reads and verifies that you meet the age limit
B) or the seller, who verifies your age, presents you with his QR code. You load it in the application and the required data is displayed - meeting the age limit, first name and first letter of the last name.

How does the operator app work?


A merchant who needs to check the age of shoppers registers on the bankidplus.cz website, activates the application and can subsequently check the age of customers either by reading a QR code from the customer's application or placing (sticking) the QR code on the entrance door of the establishment or anywhere inside, for example on tables in the case of restaurants and pubs.
