Your electronic patient file (ePA) from the BAHN-BKK

Statutory health insurance has been able to use the electronic patient record (EPR) since January 2021 - it is free of charge and use is voluntary. Information on health can be collected digitally in the file.

This enables the doctors, clinics and dentists you have chosen to find out more quickly about your state of health and previous treatments. This avoids unwanted double examinations and helps to better coordinate health measures such as medication or applications.

In the future, the vaccination card, the dental bonus booklet, the mother pass and the yellow U booklet for children will also be available in the ePA. You can even store pain diaries or the movement and sleep values ​​from fitness trackers digitally there later - if you want. Because you alone determine which information is included in the electronic patient record

• As a statutory health insurance company, we ensure the best possible protection of your health data. In order to ensure that only you or persons authorized by you have access to your ePA, we will identify you securely once. You can use your NFC-enabled electronic health card (eGK) including the associated PIN. Alternatively, you need an activation code for the ePA, which you can get personally from our service points after providing proof of identity.

Further development
• The EPR is continuously developed in accordance with the legal requirements.
