Bürgerbad Handorf - BüBa

The Burgerbad in Handorf is not a municipal bath! It is run by concerned citizens on a voluntary basis. We offer swimming areas for schools, clubs and anyone who wants to swim. Because we receive no subsidies or cross-financing, as is common in public institutions, our financing framework is very limited. This means that we can only spent the money that we take from the sale of tickets, annual swimming tickets, revenue from the rental of swimming areas at schools and clubs. These revenues would not be sufficient to operate the bathroom. This is only possible if the contributions of the members of the supporting Burgerbad Handorf e.V. be used for the operation of the bath. Therefore it is necessary for the survival of the citizens bath, that as many people to join the Friends Burgerbad Handorf.
