You frequently see unknown German license plates and would like to know where the vehicle is registered or where it comes from?

With the app you can quickly view various information on the respective license plate by entering the license plate number.

How does the App Autokennzeichen DE work?

- Enter a maximum of three letters of the car registration plate you are looking for in the field "Entry number plate", e.g. BAD for Baden-Baden or only the first letter and you will get a result with all number plates starting with the entered letters e.g. letter "A" here the first entry is the city of Augsburg.

-New: you can search for name of a town and will see the number plate

- If you then tap on the entry you are looking for, you will receive various information on the license plate number you are looking for.

- You will receive details about which federal state and which place it belongs and how the vehicle registration number is composed of the notation.

- You can also find more information about the town or district on Google Maps.

- now it is possible to save the known license plates in a list, so you can see how many german license plates you know or have seen.

Important notice:

When you launch the app for the first time, a dialog box appears asking whether you want to see personalized or non-personalized ads.

This dialog box disappears after you have made a decision.
However, you can change the decision at any time in the settings.
