Aifred Health APP
Enter Aifred Health. The Aifred Health clinical software aims to support clinical decision-making and management of depression treatment by facilitating measurement-based care and algorithm-guided treatment. The tool also empowers patients to collect, view, and choose with whom to share their mental health data.
- Clinicians and patients each create their own account via a web-based platform, and then can log in to complete or view questionnaires and data.
- Clinicians can use the tool between or during sessions to review patient progress and to access a clinical algorithm that considers a patient’s current state and provides guideline-derived information about next steps in treatment, with the objective being the easier incorporation of evidence-based practices at the point of care.
- Our physician-patient app tracks patient outcomes, visualizes data, and feeds it to an operationalized treatment algorithm that empowers clinicians to adhere to guidelines (Canadian Network for Mood and Anxiety Treatments (CANMAT) 2016 Clinical Guidelines for the Management of Adults with Major Depressive Disorder).
- The messaging resource, known as the circle of care, allows physicians and patients to communicate through the application once it has been enabled by the physician.
Initial studies have shown that 90% of clinicians say they would use it with their patients who are most in need. Furthermore, patients stated that they have found it user-friendly and several of them have noted that having access to it improved their telemedicine experience.
Safety and effectiveness of the tool is Aifred’s number one priority - our applications are HIPAA-compliant and undergo rigorous security checks.
