Água Viva

Água Viva is a citizen science and science popularization initiative that aims to bring visibility to the environmental issue and floating garbage in Guanabara Bay.

The Água Viva application promotes perceptive monitoring of the environmental conditions of Guanabara Bay. In it you can register:
Climate
wind direction
Presence of floating garbage
water transparency
tide level
Geographic location
And even take pictures!

You can register wherever you are, multiply the idea of ​​care for the environment and thus contribute to environmental preservation. We are going to build a consistent and updated database on the Guanabara Bay that can be used for educational and research purposes, and can be used by educators inside and outside the classroom, fishermen, bathers, nautical athletes and by all who enjoy the Guanabara's Bay.

Água Viva is an initiative of the Rumo Náutico Institute - Grael Project for educational purposes. This is not a complaint application to be handled or forwarded to any public body.
