"Picture book reading record Julius" made by an active parenting dad is a free picture book reading recording application that does not require registration! I made it because I was not satisfied with the picture book storytelling recording application so far. We aim to be a simple and easy-to-use app full of functions that reflect the voices of mothers and fathers who are raising children.
It's okay to use other apps now! We have also prepared a function to make it easier to switch while keeping the app.

In Julius, you can create a bookshelf for each child. Siblings can separate their reading records. Even if the number of siblings increases later, it is also possible to add new ones.

■Easy to see! Manage picture books visually
Julius adopts a grid display like Instagram. The covers of picture books with cute illustrations are lined up, so it looks good and it is easy to find the picture book you want. It's also perfect for when you choose a picture book that you want your child to read. You can also change to list view if you like.

■ Register books you have read or want to read
You can register "picture books that you haven't read yet", such as picture books that you want to read from now on, or picture books that you found at the bookstore, with the status of "not yet".
With the display change button, you can quickly switch between the list of picture books you have read and the list of picture books that have not yet been read.
・ Status borrowed from the library
After registering a picture book, you can select the status of "Owned" or "Borrowed", so you can easily manage which picture book is borrowed from the library.
・Favorite function
Children's favorite picture books can be added to favorites. With the sorting function, you can display only your favorites later, so you can quickly find your favorite picture book.
- Picture book memo function
You can leave a note in the picture book. You can record separately from the reading record count, such as the reaction when reading for the first time and the awareness of the picture book.

You can search by title, so even if you register a lot of picture books, you can quickly find the picture book you are looking for.

In Julius, picture books with book registration can be registered by reading the barcode with the camera. You can easily register the picture books you already have.
・Search by keyword and register
You can also search by keyword, such as title or author. Just press the add button of the corresponding picture book from the searched word! If you search by the picture book series name, you can easily register the works of that series just by tapping.
・Original picture books can also be registered
If the picture book is not registered as a book, it can be registered as an original picture book. The cover can be taken or selected from the photo library.

For each picture book, you can count the number of times you have read it just by pressing a button. In addition to simply counting, you can change the date by pressing and holding the reading button, and you can also take notes on 5 levels of playfulness, children's reactions, etc. Read aloud counts are aggregated and displayed in a chart.

It's okay to be busy! You can easily add a count from the picture book list by pressing the quick count button at the bottom right of the picture book cover.

You can see a list of reading records for each picture book. You can also edit or delete it from there.

The number of times you have read today is displayed on the top right of the home screen, so you can immediately see how much you have read today.

・Share the story-telling record
Julius allows you to share your storytelling recordings with your partner, such as your spouse, or with your supporters, such as your grandparents.
Once you've logged into the Share feature, you'll be able to invite people you want to share with.
Invite the person you want to share, register the app, log in, and the storytelling record will be shared in real time.
You can choose two account types to invite. One is a partner account for couples, and the other is a supporter account for grandparents.
・Share with partners such as couples
A partner account is recommended for recording picture books with a couple or partner.
With a partner account, you can use all functions such as reading picture books, editing/deleting, and inviting.
If each other records reading aloud from each smartphone, the records will be added up and displayed.
・Share with supporters such as grandparents
Supporter accounts are recommended for sharing with grandparents and other people who support childcare.
Supporter accounts are view-only and have limited functions such as record registration, various edits/deletions, and invitations.
You can see what kind of picture book they are reading and what kind of reaction they had.
For example, when gifting a picture book from a grandparent, you can know what they like without having to ask them what they haven't read yet.

・The storytelling recording app solves the problem that it is difficult to switch!
Once you start using a picture book storytelling recording app, it can be difficult to switch. Therefore, Julius has added a function that makes it easy to switch.
By leaving the app you are using now and entering the number you recorded with that app into Julius, you can add it to your record.
For example, you can continue recording picture books without wasting the records so far by dividing them by timing, such as recording with the old app until October this year, and recording with Julius from November this year.

・ Add function to the entire bookshelf
You can add storytelling recordings across your bookshelf. For example, if you read 1000 times with the old app, if you add 1000 times to the bookshelf, it will be counted as 1001 times next time.

・ Add for each picture book
It is possible to add not only the entire bookshelf but also each picture book.
As with the entire bookshelf, if you've read that picture book 10 times in the old app, add 10 times to that picture book, and then add 11 more times.

You can output a list of picture books registered in the bookshelf as a PDF. You can convert to PDF with your favorite display such as cover only, cover and title, or list display with cover and title.
